Vinod Ganjoor

Vinod is the key founder and Chief Executive Officer of EurIndia Limited. 

Vinod currently serves on the Boards of Allsec Technologies, and Thinksoft Global Services, India’s leading independent software testing company in the financial services vertical. Over the last several years he has been instrumental in advising companies on their corporate and financial strategy; and involved in guiding companies on their personnel, product line, partnering, and outsourcing decisions. He has over 16 years of collective experience spanning private equity, credit- and high yield research, commercial lending, and as a credit officer in a commercial bank.  Companies he has worked with have included both public and private corporations that have successfully financed themselves through the venture, private equity, mezzanine, bond, bank debt, and public equity markets. He has been a frequent speaker at Wharton, LBS and INSEAD events, addressing topics related to outsourcing and the business/investment environment in India.

Post-MBA, the initial part of his career was spent in India with Bank of America as a corporate banker, after which he was a senior credit analyst with Standard Chartered Bank in their regional headquarters in the Middle East, covering lending to small and mid-sized, high growth business enterprises. After completing his Masters from London Business School, he worked in the Global Markets division of Deutsche Bank as a senior bond analyst in the Media/Technology/Consumer sectors, and subsequently covered the same sectors on the high yield desk. He was the lead research analyst for debt issuances by large European corporations such as Deutsche Telecom, KPN, Pearson, Bertelsmann, etc. While with the high yield desk he was the lead analyst on the Auto Trader bond issue as well as the Coral Mezzanine (PIK) transaction. While at Deutsche Bank, he was ranked its number one MBA recruiter globally and among the pioneers of the drive to recruit both LBS and IIM (India) students.

Vinod has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts (1988) and a Masters in Finance from London Business School (1996).

 

N S Raghuram

N S Raghuram (Raghu) joined EurIndia as Director-Investments in October 2000. He was previously a key member of the investment team at ICICI Venture, one of India’s largest Venture Capital firms and has more than 10 years of venture capital experience in India. With EurIndia he has been involved in the day-to-day responsibility of managing the portfolio, and is an alternate Director to Vinod Ganjoor on the Boards of Allsec and Thinksoft. While at ICICI Venture he led, managed and exited from investments in the Information Technology and Life Sciences sectors. Some of the investments he has been closely involved with during his VC career include Allsec Technologies, Biocon, Medicorp Technologies and Bangalore Genei. The initial part of his career was spent in Robert Bosch Gmbh's India Subsidiary, Motor Industries Co. Limited, where he was a part of the initial project team which launched the Bosch range of Portable Electric Power Tools in India.

Raghu has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore
 
 
 

 

 

 

 

Jitendra V. Singh

Jitendra Singh is the Saul P. Steinberg Professor, Department of Management at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. During 1998-2001, he was Vice Dean, International Academic Affairs.

He has been a faculty member at Wharton since 1987 and moved there from University of Toronto, Canada where he was an Associate Professor in the (now) Rotman School of Business. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford Business School in 1983

His research interests center on evolutionary approaches to strategy and organization, with a specific current focus on high technology firms and business process outsourcing. He has published over forty papers in most of the leading management journals and currently serves on the editorial boards of Organization Science, StrategicManagement Journal and Strategic Organization!.

Jitendra Singh has lectured worldwide (N. America, Europe, Asia, and S. America) to both executive and academic audiences. He is also active in advising firms and serves as a director or advisor for several startup and established firms. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fedders Corporation (NYSE: FJC), a leading global firm in the air treatment business and Emcure Pharmaceuticals, a privately owned biopharmaceuticals company based in Pune, India. Earlier, from 2000-2003, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Bangalore, India based Infosys Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: INFY) a world-class firm in the business of software services.
